It seems Atronic have another hit on their hands as the Regency Casino Thessaloniki staged a promotional event for their Deal Or No Deal slot machines. The promotion began with a local compere walking around the casino floor accompanied by girls dressed in gold carrying briefcases synonymous with the TV show Deal Or No Deal. The team helped to create a frenzy amongst the expectant players and the girls handed out entry tickets which were redeemable for prizes at the bank of machines.
The crowd were so excited by the impending game launch that the promotion team were almost overcome as the prize desk was swamped by the players claiming their prizes. Along with the token prizes, there were extra special prizes on offer, which gave the lucky winners the chance to be the first to sit at the machines to play. At 9pm the theme tune rang out over the PA system, the names were read out and the lucky winners took their places at the chosen machines. The machines were then turned on to reveal a bonus amount of credits already on the machine.
As the evening progressed the onlookers were trying to get in on the action each time the feature hit by pointing and pushing across the seated players giving their advice. Players quickly understood the feature, and they soon realised that it was almost the same as on TV. The machines remained occupied all night.
Regency Casino Thessaloniki continued with the promotional events with a different promotion each night over the course of the weekend and the machines proved a big hit.
Slot Manager Dimitris Kristallis commented: “The new Deal Or No Deal slot machines are a great novelty at Regency Casino Thessaloniki. These games offer excitement and interaction to our players like no other games have before!”
The Deal Or No Deal link is based on the globally successful TV game show from Endemol and is offered as a package of two game themes, both featuring the thrilling Cash Box Bonus as well as Atronic’s Rapid Progressive Jackpot technology which creates frequent winners. Both games give players an amazing six different ways to trigger the progressive jackpot making the Deal Or No Deal link an extremely attractive game for players.
The Regency Casino also ran radio and newspaper advertising before the weekend opening and are now doing billboard and television advertising for the next few weeks, including TV spots during the show. Deal Or No Deal is sure to have continued success at the Regency Casino Thessaloniki.
Meanwhile the company are focussing on Central and South American shows, with a showing at the recent FADJA where Atronic's latest linked products wowed the crowds. At Bogota's Corferias Convention Centre, Colombia, their linked gaming concepts Game of Life and King Kong Cash attracted a lot of interest. Both are stunning set-ups, with great signage and sound, and Game of Life's design means it will attract those not even familiar with the board game it is based on.
Atronic’s Colombian Sales Consultant Juan Guillermo Diaz commented: “We had a very busy two days at the show with a lot of interest and excellent feedback to our two multi-level progressives King Kong Cash and The Game of Life. Many of our visitors were already existing customers but we also had a lot of potential new clients visit the stand. Our Harmony cabinets and the progressive jackpot links Mystery Magic and Hot Link also created great interest among visitors.”
Following their success in Colombia, Atronic looks next to SAGSE Panama, mid-June, where again King Kong Cash and Game of Life will take centre stage. King Kong features a four-level progressive jackpot, while Game of Life boasts five levels; both are sure to be popular at the show.
In what has been a busy time as ever for Atronic, the company has also installed a Mystery Magic progressive link in Casino Cosmopol, Sweden, along with a number of Harmony upright and slant-top slot machines.
The uprights have been installed as stand-alone games, while the slant-tops feature the Mystery Magic progressive, with three games installed: Crimson Fire, Kublai Khan and Sleep Walker.
Regional Sales Executive for Atronic, Michael Seils, said: “The installation was a success and we have received very positive feedback from Casino Cosmopol."
Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?
