Networked gaming specialist Octavian has extended its senior management team by hiring Tony Overstead as Chief Technology Officer.
The appointment precedes the imminent completion of the deal that will result in Octavian merging with the Australian Stock Exchange-listed eBet to form Octavian Global Technologies.
Overstead has extensive experience in transactional technology in the banking and telecoms sectors. In his previous role as Managing Consultant at EDS Consulting he ran major programmes for NetBank, the Internet banking service of Commonwealth Bank, one of Australia’s largest banks. He has also managed major development projects in partnership with SAP, Microsoft, Dell and Fuji Xerox.
“We are delighted to have found a CTO of Tony’s calibre and experience,” said Harmen Brenninkmeijer, who will become Executive Chairman of the merged Octavian and eBet business.
