GPI plaques for Crown Casino, Macau in Casino International Online

Early April, GPI completed the production of an order from Crown Macau Casino for approximately 70,000 Bourgogne & Grasset high frequency (13.56MHz) RFID plaques as well as for all the wheelchecks with its Bud Jones roulette chips. GPI supplied several sets of the state-of-the-art B&G plaques using high frequency RFID technology from Magellan.

Gerard P. Charlier, president and chief executive officer of GPI said: “We are extremely proud to have been selected by an operator as prominent as Crown Macau for such an important casino opening. We are effectively leveraging our leadership in the broader casino currency market to create additional growth opportunities such as expanding our presence in the rapidly expanding market for RFID. We believe this order underscores GPI’s position as the world’s leading provider of RFID technology to the gaming industry and we look forward to helping make the operation of Crown Macau a success.”

During the opening ceremony of James Packer’s 220-table casino held on May 12, Christophe Leparoux, GPI’s International Sales and Marketing Manager added: “GPI plaques are unique and have no rival when it comes to security, quality, durability, and class. Both players and casinos expect a plaque to be much more than a piece of printed plastic, and we believe our B&G plaques provide a sense of distinction.”

Crown Macau is another casino supplied by GPI in Macau where the group boasts a very dominant market share as it has been providing chips and plaques to all the current casino operators in the Chinese territory.

Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?

  • Yes, almost certainly. It's a great idea.
  • Maybe, with a few revisions it could work.
  • Don't be absurd, it's a crazy plan.
