FutureLogic appoints Lu Hanna

As FutureLogic cements its place as the world’s leading provider of thermal printer solutions, the company has announced the appointment of Lu Hanna as Vice President of Operations.

Prior to joining FutureLogic, Hanna led the optics division for GSI Group for 4 years. Before that he spent more than 15 years managing high- and low-volume manufacturing and quality operations, implementing such programs as Lean Manufacturing, 6- Sigma, Just In Time, Total Quality Management, ISO9000/AS9100, QS9000, automation, turnkey supplier relationship management, outsourcing and Far East manufacturing. Hanna’s background includes key management positions with Rain Bird, Harman OEM, Adel Wiggins and EOS power supplies. Eric Meyerhofer, FutureLogic President, said: “With more than 20 years of engineering and operations management experience in a manufacturing environment, Lu is an important addition to the FutureLogic team. His primary task is to bring a more structured approach to integrating new technology into the production process along with improving time-to-market and overall quality.” Commenting on his appointment, Hanna stated: “I am pleased and proud to join FutureLogic. The company is experiencing rapid growth and I look forward to implementing the tools, technology and processes that will help them maintain the reputation they have built as the leader in TITO print technology.
