Aristocrat reinforces France presence
Published:  01 July, 2007

Aristocrat Europe has reinforced its presence in the French casino sector following a sustained period of growth over the last six months. Working in tandem with Tranchant Gaming Technology, formerly Techni Import Professionnel, the Aristocrat brand is now more prevalent in France than ever before.

Sébastien Tranchant, President of Tranchant Gaming Technology explained: “A combination of technological advances made by Aristocrat and the recent boom in the French gaming market have enabled our two companies to experience a period of very high growth. International normative developments and the progression of note acceptance in France have allowed us to offer for the first time to all French casinos the whole range of Aristocrat games without exception – that means approximately 70 different models.”

He continued: “The close collaboration between our two companies continues to flourish, among our latest ventures are special launch events for French casinos taking installation of Zorro games. We are delighted to be one of Aristocrat’s most successful and progressive partners in the Europe and Africa region and will continue to develop the Aristocrat-Tranchant relationship to offer French customers even more added value.”

Marcus Honney, Sales Director for Aristocrat Technologies Europe, added: “We are very pleased with the exceptional progress we have made in France and having the support of Tranchant and in particular Sébastien, ATEL are positive that our business will only grow in this key European market.”

Poll

Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?

  • Yes, almost certainly. It's a great idea.
  • Maybe, with a few revisions it could work.
  • Don't be absurd, it's a crazy plan.
