Gaming Support rolls out Caribbean Dice Roulette
Published:  01 July, 2006

Gaming Support are celebrating the installation of table game Caribbean Dice Roulette at Casino’ Sanremo, Italy. The casino were apparently seeking an innovative but simple game which could keep players enthralled, and settled on Gaming Support’s CDR.

“Combining the speed and simplicity of roulette with the thrill of craps, Caribbean Dice Roulette will excite our clients,” said Roberto Mento, Sanremo’s Live Games Manager. “Players toss the dice themselves, allowing them to interact with the game in a way they cannot with roulette. Craps is complicated, roulette is not. Caribbean Dice Roulette is the perfect mix of both games and will bring us new, younger players; it is easier to play than craps and more interactive than roulette.” With years of tables experience across North America and Europe, Mr Mento is certain that Caribbean Dice Roulette will quickly become a players’ favourite. “With three dice, customers feel they have an extra chance of winning. That perception of having an edge, of being on a roll, that Casino’ Sanremo is a casino where Lady Luck really does smile on you… that’s what turns customers into valued clients. Caribbean Dice Roulette will help us achieve this.” The three dice include a third custom die that indicates High, Normal or Low payout. The house percentages for Caribbean Dice Roulette are similar to traditional roulette. Caribbean Dice Roulette has the same layout as roulette, so people are immediately comfortable playing it. It is played on a mini-craps table, allowing everyone to easily see what is going on and feel the gaming emotion whether they are playing or not. This converts more ‘watchers’ into players. “We are very excited to add Casino’ Sanremo to the growing list of casinos where people can play Caribbean Dice Roulette”, said Lucien van Linden, CEO of Gaming Support. “Having recently completed Caribbean Dice Roulette’s development, we are very encouraged by the level of interest shown in it.” Research shows that customers like Caribbean Dice Roulette because it is more interactive than roulette and easier to play than craps. Casino operators like it because it attracts new, younger players, and casino staff like it because it’s fun and exciting to operate. “If all our games provided such a triple win, I think Gaming Support would be the biggest supplier of gaming equipment in the world!” said Mr van Linden.

Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?

  • Yes, almost certainly. It's a great idea.
  • Maybe, with a few revisions it could work.
  • Don't be absurd, it's a crazy plan.
