Bally Technologies has enjoyed further success with a contract to supply Viejas Casino, Mount Airy Casino and more...
Bally Technologies has signed a contract with Viejas Casino & Outlet Center to provide a complete slot accounting and casino management system and 2,500 iVIEW interactive displays for all of Viejas Casino’s slot machines.
Located in Alpine, California and serving the San Diego metropolitan market, Viejas Casino is one of the leading Native American casino properties in the country. Viejas Casino will utilize Bally Slot Management Systems (SMS), Casino Management Systems (CMS) and Bally eTICKET cashless functionality. The choice of Bally Systems followed a comprehensive competitive review.
Viejas Casino also plans to re-wire its casino floor with advanced Ethernet capabilities that will boost the performance of the Bally slot and casino management systems even further and prepare the property for the networked slot floor of the future.
“Our competitive review was extremely thorough and we are confident we have selected the solution that will move our operations forward today, while preparing us for the future,” said Lyn Baxter, Interim CEO of Viejas Casino. “The Bally iVIEW in particular will allow us to communicate in a more effective manner with our players and gives us the option of introducing advanced bonusing technologies in the future.”
Bally’s success continues, with a new contract signed with Mount Airy Casino Resort to provide a complete slot and casino management system, an advanced suite of Bally Power Bonusing products and an initial order of 2,500 iVIEW interactive displays for all of the slot machines planned for the Pennsylvania resort’s opening in Fall 2007.
In addition, Bally secured an order for 28 percent of the initial slot floor for a total of 695 units that will include a wide variety of premium titles, ALPHA Elite S9C and S9E reel-spinners and ALPHA Elite V20/20 and CineVision wide-screen video slots.
Mount Airy will utilize Bally Slot Management Systems / Casino Management Systems technologies and Bally eTICKET cashless functionality. It will also offer Bally Power Winners, a configurable random progressive jackpot technology that rewards players using their player’s club card. Bally Power Winners allows for stand-alone or multi-property progressive jackpots to carded players and supplemental rewards to those using their club card when a jackpot hits.
To complement the Bally Power Bonusing suite of products, Mount Airy Casino Resort will integrate the iVIEW displays in the slot machine to create a personalized multimedia experience for each patron as they play.
Located in Paradise Township in the Pocono Mountain region, the Mount Airy Casino Resort is located at the site of the famous Mount Airy Lodge, opening in Autumn 2007. Bally has also signed a contract with Foxwoods, supplying the world’s largest casino with 7,200 iVIEW slot-machine displays and player-centric Bally Power Bonusing technology.
With a focus on significantly enhancing its player’s gaming experience, Foxwoods plans to introduce the Bally iVIEW interactive displays in the slot machine with proprietary player-centric features providing for custom rewards and messaging that are driven by the patron’s overall level of casino play. The iVIEW displays will allow Foxwoods to communicate more effectively with its players by highlighting bonusing features, special events, player-loyalty programs and convenience services across the entire slot floor.
The agreement also contemplates reaching 10,000 iVIEW displays based on planned expansions at the resort located in Mashantucket, Conn.
John O’Brien, President of Foxwoods, said: “Bally protected our investment in our existing Bally SMS system, but at the same time we will take a giant leap forward with the iVIEW-bonusing combination tying together both existing and future game-level applications. The ease-of-integration with our existing technology is also a tremendous benefit.”
Bally has also announced the appointment of Brian Pierce as Vice President of North American Game Sales. Pierce most recently served as Executive Vice President of Sales for gaming supplier Paltronics. He previously served as Vice President of North American Sales from 2004 to 2006 for slot machine supplier WMS Gaming, where he spent a total of 10 years. Pierce also has casino operations experience from being employed by the Claridge Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J.
“Brian is highly regarded throughout the gaming industry and the relationships he has created and his keen focus on customer service will serve him well in this position with Bally,” said Gavin Isaacs, Bally Chief Operating Officer. “Brian is joining our company at a very exciting time, and he and the entire sales team will benefit from the best product lineup in Bally’s long history.”
Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?
