Las Vegas Sands Venetian Macau opened on August 28 with GPI high security chips on all its 870 tables. As most of Macau casinos, Venetian chose GPI as its preferred supplier to deliver close to 2million chips from the B&G brand. These chips feature exclusive security features such as individual high security holograms, ultra-violet pigments, LaserLock infrared pigments and see-through inserts. They were produced in a record time at GPI’s facility in Beaune, France as some of the highest security chips ever made by the group.

“Our exclusive security features and high quality standards combined with tightly controlled production facilities and procedures guarantee the best possible level of security and integrity when it comes to the supply of a casino currency” said Christophe Leparoux, GPI International Sales and Marketing Manager, while attending the lavish opening ceremony on August 28.

“The management team at LVS Venetian had already experienced GPI’s service with the supply of chips to Sands Macau over the last three years and we are particularly proud and grateful for their renewed support and confidence shown in our company and products.”

GPI supplies the B&G brand chips and plaques made in Beaune, France as well as the Bud Jones chips from Las Vegas directly to casinos worldwide. Management believes that beyond the intrinsic quality and sophistication of the products, this direct contact between the customers and a long-established manufacturer is key to a successful partnership, particularly in an extremely demanding and challenging market such as Macau.

Poll

Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?

  • Yes, almost certainly. It's a great idea.
  • Maybe, with a few revisions it could work.
  • Don't be absurd, it's a crazy plan.
