After an eighteen-month renovation programme and a 25 million Euro spend, the Hit Company has officially re-opened the renovated Park Gaming and Entertainment Centre, Nova Gorica, which was the first casino the company opened, in 1984.
Today, the Park Casino and Hotel offers 789 slot machines, 36 gaming tables, and bingo, on the gaming floors, and operates a 4,000sqm site, with bars and restaurants on a 24-hour basis, 365 days a year.
Nearly 11 million guests have visited since it first opened 23 years ago in the Park Hotel. At first the casino offered guests only one table for playing boulle, and 30 slot machines.
In the late 1980s, Hit started to develop touristentertainment activities. It offered more games, bought new slot machines, renovated hotels, and claims to be the first in Europe to develop a resort casino on the American model of integrated entertainment.
