Cammegh brings automation to live Roulette

Roulette wheel experts unleash new Slingshot 2 TT at G2E 2007

Cammegh, the market-leading roulette wheel manufacturer, has further enhanced their excellent range of roulette wheels with a table-mounted version of the Slingshot 2.

The Cammegh brand is associated with the highest quality products, a no-compromise approach to roulette wheel design, integrity and innovation. Among their firsts are In-Rim ball sensors found in the superb manual Mercury Wheel, a maintenance-free for life bearing installed across their entire range of roulette wheels and their patented ball launch mechanism created for their automatic roulette wheel, Slingshot 2, which allows the ball to remain in view at all times and that fewer moving parts are required, upholding the reliability and security aspects of the wheel.

This most elegant, GLI 11-approved interpretation of an automatic roulette wheel has been ingeniously redesigned to be installed on an existing live roulette table, enabling a host of advantages including increased games per hour, increased security, removing the possibility of dealer collusion should the Slingshot 2 TT be linked to third party betting terminals. The Slingshot 2 TT can also be switched to fully automatic mode when the table is closed, perhaps during quieter hours, leaving the Slingshot 2 TT to continue providing random results for multi-wheel electronic betting terminals without the need for a dealer. This would also remove the need for floor standing automatic roulette wheels which could then be replaced by additional electronic betting terminals.

Andrew Cammegh said: “We have always been aware of the flexible design potential inherent in the Slingshot 2. Its shallow bowl and few moving parts have always lent themselves to a variety of possible install configurations.” He added: “Now that the Slingshot 2, in its more recognised floor standing guise has proved to be a firm favourite with our customers, with sales exceeding our forecasts and expectations, we feel the time is right to widen the potential and application of the product.”

Richard Cammegh said: “Automation, security and turnover of games are high on our customer’s agendas and the Slingshot 2, be it in a floor standing or table mounted installation identifies and responds to these requirement.”

Cammegh will be unveiling the new Slingshot 2 TT on their stand, 3127 at G2E. This, together with their Mercury Wheel, Crystal Wheel, Connoisseur with their visually stunning Billboard Displays, ingenious EyeBall ball detection system and PitBoss suite of wheel analysis products, underscores Cammegh’s commitment to their best-of-breed status in the world of roulette.

Andrew said of G2E as a product launch venue: “G2E is an extremely important event for Cammegh. This year we have doubled our floor space and will be exhibiting more product than ever before to accommodate the growing interest and footfall we experience at G2E. We launched the Billboard Display System at G2E, creating an awareness of the product, meaning that we are able to hit the ground running the following January at ICE. This strategy proved successful, and it was an easy decision to do the same with the Slingshot 2 TT.”

Poll

Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?

  • Yes, almost certainly. It's a great idea.
  • Maybe, with a few revisions it could work.
  • Don't be absurd, it's a crazy plan.
