Jumbo deal for Money Controls’ bill acceptor
Published:  01 November, 2007

Taiwan-based Jumbo Technology Co Ltd has chosen Money Controls’ Ardac Elite bill acceptor for its latest video bingo machine.

Jumbo designs and manufactures professional gaming and bingo products. The parent group also owns and operates several VIP clubs and bingo halls in Taiwan and is part of a strategic alliance with over 30 partner clubs operating slot and bingo halls.

Jumbo's products are certified by GLI, and its latest multi-player gaming machine, Sic-Bo, has now made a successful debut on the Macau casino scene. New roulette and baccarat games will also be delivered to the market over the next few months.

Video bingo games are hugely popular in the region and Jumbo's Philippines subsidiary, Perception Gaming Inc, has recently delivered 120 slant-top machines, into the Philippines’ bingo market, each one equipped with Ardac Elite.

Simon Liu, Jumbo’s Director of Business Development, commented on the Philippines success: “Jumbo is the first bingo machine manufacturer in the Philippines to use casino-standard bill acceptors in its bingo products, a move that is proving very popular with operators and players. Thanks to Ardac Elite’s reliability, security and ease of use, operators are seeing increased cashbox take.

“We are delighted with the performance of Ardac Elite and the excellent technical support provided by Money Controls. Thanks to Ardac Elite, our customers are delighted with the performance of our machines, and we are in advanced discussions with other major bingo operators in the region.”

Poll

Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?

  • Yes, almost certainly. It's a great idea.
  • Maybe, with a few revisions it could work.
  • Don't be absurd, it's a crazy plan.
