A new 10-seat PokerPro table is now available, offering a range of new features, which include Omaha Poker, a game that is notoriously difficult to deal, and facilities that make it easy for operators to organise multi-table tournaments, display Showdown Odds, offer Quick Accounts, Kill Pots, and Stored Value Cards, and run the table in a variety of languages and currencies.
Current PokePro tables can be programmed with these new facilities using a simple software update.
Tim Klok, European Manager – Multi Table Gaming for Aristocrat Technologies, the company that has exclusive distribution rights for PokerTek’s PokerPro in outside Canada and the USA, explained: “PokerPro set the standard that everyone followed when it first hit the market in 2005. The new software is a major enhancement which clearly differentiates us from our competitors.”
Chris Halligan has succeeded LouWhite as CEO of PokerTek. Halligan joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Planning in September 2006. Lou White, who co-founded the company, is now Vice Chairman of the Board.
