Las Vegas Sands have acquired the funding to complete their epic Singapore project, which must have been difficult considering the current negative state of the financial markets in the US; in Europe, the Gran Scala project, a staggeringly ambitious plan to build theme parks and casino hotels in Aragon, Spain, is also under way with groundbreaking expected September 2008.
