Omsk operator evades taxes
Published: 01 July, 2006
An owner of gaming machines in Omsk city is short in payments of 23 million rubles to the budget. Understandably, a criminal case was initiated.
As it was reported by a spokesman at the prosecutor's office, the defendant is a local entrepreneur owning 810 gaming machines, placed at different locations in Omsk city. While filing a tax return for 2005 and the first quarter of 2006, he misreported some data. As a result, his own pocket benefited by more than 23 million rubles.
