East European gaming operator Ritzio Entertainment Group has acquired three ‘city casinos' in Prague, Czech Republic, adding a new "retail gaming" format to the portfolio of 33 gaming clubs that it operates in Czech cities. The three small-size venues each include several electronic roulettes, table games, and slot machines.
Ritzio's ‘Gran Prix' gaming clubs have been operating successfully in the Czech Republic according to CEO Vitaly Veselko: "we saw this acquisition as a good opportunity to develop the project further," he explains. "We operate a chain of City Casinos, in the Baltic States and we find this format successful."
Ritzio runs over 900 gaming locations in 14 countries, and specialises in slot clubs, ‘retail' and traditional casinos, as well as entertainment venues.
