The Yaroslavl administration, together with its deputies and businessmen, will soon meet at the session in local Duma to discuss the future of gaming venues. The situation with the Yaroslavl gaming machines is almost critical.
More than 200 machines are installed per 100,000 people, which is sevenfold more than in St. Petersburg, though it is hard to get precise numbers because half of all machines are operated without any license. As it was decided by local gaming representatives the casinos shouldn't be removed outside of the city area. They suppose it may cause some economic damages and even lead to court trials. Don't forget that some gaming entrepreneurs from Belgorod and Tatarstan managed to win a case successfully. So all the interested parties, entrepreneurs, deputies and regulators agreed to avoid harsh measures and to jointly regulate the gaming sector. Initially, inspections of the gaming venues are planned.
Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?
