Published: 01 February, 2008
The Nevada Gaming Commission has voted unanimously to permit Italian-owned Lottomatica and its wholly-owned subsidiaries, GTECH Corporation and GTECH Global Services Corporation, to own an interest in a Nevada licensee Atronic International and Atronic Americas.
"Approval in Nevada is a major step toward the completion of our acquisition of Atronic, which is on track to close in the first quarter of 2008," said Lottomatica Chairman, Lorenzo Pellicioli. "Nevada licensing approval is an important aspect of our gaming growth strategy."
