TableMAX and Pacific both hire Steve Crystal
Published:  01 April, 2008

As the company's new President and CEO, Stephen Crystal has been tasked with building the executive team of table game developer TableMAX. He has also been appointed by the board of PacificNet, Inc as an Independent Director.

"We are fortunate to welcome Stephen Crystal to our board," said Tong Tong, Chairman and CEO of PacificNet. "His extensive experience, both in gaming and in law, will make him a very valuable asset to our team."

Crystal began his relationship with TableMAX in June 2007, hired as a consultant to advise the company on business strategy. Within a month of taking on the role of CEO this February, he began positioning TableMAX for a rapid expansion in development and distribution, and quickly achieved significant expansion of the company's leadership team.

Paul Kimmel has joined TableMAX as Chief Financial Officer and A Faisal Siddiqui as Chief Technology Officer. "I came to TableMAX with a mission to build a strong team of leaders, and I am thrilled to have Paul and Faisal join our team," Crystal explains. "I am very proud to say we have also added two of the industry's most respected sales and marketing thinkers to our team: Benjamin Parks as Vice President of Sales, and Sheri Hanks as Vice President of Marketing," he added.

Parks and Hanks come to TableMAX with diverse experience on the operations and manufacturer sides of the gaming industry. Parks' experience includes innovative roles at Harrah's, the largest gaming operator in the world, and sales leadership roles in the highly competitive gaming industry supplier environment. Hanks was Marketing & Trade Show Director for Las Vegas Gaming, Inc. Hanks has rich experience in the industry, including the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Station Casinos, Inc.

Previously, Crystal was president and chief marketing officer for Las Vegas Gaming, Inc, where he directed the launch for its patented PlayerVision and oversaw growth of the company as a gamemanagement system operator.

Poll

Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?

  • Yes, almost certainly. It's a great idea.
  • Maybe, with a few revisions it could work.
  • Don't be absurd, it's a crazy plan.
