GLI Australia has recently moved its Adelaide testing laboratory into a new and larger facility located south of the city of Adelaide.
The new laboratory is designed to meet specific requirements of gaming machines and systems testing to ensure GLI Australia has the capability and capacity to undertake the increase in evaluations for the Australian, New Zealand and Asia Pacific regions.
The Adelaide facility boasts a systems integration laboratory for multiple jurisdictions operating VLC, QCOM, X-Series and SAS protocols, giving manufacturers the ability to have devices evaluated against real life systems for multiple jurisdictions including Macau. GLI Australia employs 45 people in total, including the recent hire of six new engineers who handle local manufacturers that sell equipment to the worldwide market. GLI Australia operates two fully equipped test laboratories in Adelaide and Sydney and services Australia and Asian based manufacturers for markets including Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
GLI Australia’s Managing Director Ian Hughes said, “Our new facility allows us to significantly increase our testing capacity to deliver time effective testing to jurisdictions not only in the Australia and New Zealand markets but for regulated jurisdictions worldwide.”
Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?
