Harrah's Entertainment, Inc plans to change its name to Caesar's Entertainment Corporation.
"Adoption of the name Caesar's Entertainment Corporation will provide our company with greater prestige and help attract strategic business partners as we pursue expansion opportunities in new jurisdictions," said Gary Loveman, Harrah's chairman, president and chief executive officer.
"The change also reflects our evolution into a full-service entertainment company that offers a rich range of gaming and non-gaming amenities to our guests."
The company has added four members to its board of directors: Charles Atwood; Jeanne Jackson; Lynn Swann; and Christopher Williams. All these changes are subject to regulatory approval.
Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?
