Innovative Technology Ltd's latest bill validator, the NV200, is now on sale, following three months of field tests and feedback, "which has been excellent," according to Innovative's Lizzie Thompson, who claims a typical acceptance rate of 99.8 percent for the unit.
Innovative claims that the NV200 accepts and stacks notes and barcode tickets in three seconds, allowing notes to be accepted as skewed insertions. A lockable validator head and a dual-lock cashbox keeps cash safe, a modular interface allows flexible connectivity, while an easy-access MMC card interface provides for fast programming and statistical data collection; alternatively a PC or handheld unit can be used to run programming tools via USB.
The 86mm backlit bezel can be illuminated in any combination of the three primary colours.
