Strong figures from suppliers

While some traditional casino operators are seeing revenues fall, suppliers of gaming equipment have been posting positive financial results.
Bally Technologies announced record earnings for the third quarter fiscal of 2008, with system revenue up 85 per cent to a record $57 million and record revenues of $233 million.
Gaming machine manufacturer WMS Industries enjoyed a 39 per cent increase in revenue from gambling operations, year on year, for the first four months of 2008.
