Chips and plaques from Gaming Partners International are to appear in the new James Bond movie “Casino Royale”.
In “Casino Royale”, to be released in November this year, James Bond will be handling chips and plaques from the famous Bourgogne & Grasset (B&G) brand. Products have been designed specifically for the movie and manufactured at the group’s subsidiary GPI Sas in Beaune, France.
“Over the course of our 80 years of history, we have been supplying very prestigious and exclusive casinos throughout the world, in places such as Monaco, London or Macau where our products have been through the hands of many famous and important people” said Christophe Leparoux, Manager International Sales & Marketing.
“We are proud to be associated with yet another high-profile – although fictitious – gaming venue and with one of the world’s most famous movie characters!”
The casting of fair-haired Daniel Craig as Bond in the movie caused controversy among die-hard fans, but early reaction to Casino Royale trailers has been overwhelmingly positive.
