Casino International Managing Editor Jon Bruford has launched an innovative new podcast for the gambling industry, telling the stories behind the sector’s outstanding individuals.
“It’s about people, basically,” said Jon of The Bruford Files project. “This industry is very personality-driven, but we often know surprisingly little about the people we engage with and I wanted to tell some of the amazing stories people in the industry have to share.”
Episode one of the podcast – available through Spotify and other podcast providers – launched recently, an interview with former Scientific Games CEO Gavin Isaacs. Episode two launched this week, a talk with Vegas gaming attorney Jennifer Gaynor about a forthcoming book on the city’s kick-ass women from history.
Future episodes include an industry veteran that also has a gold record and an entry in the Pinball Hall of Fame, a Juventus-mad CEO, and a legal legend who served on the Nevada gaming board when the Mob were still front and centre in Las Vegas.
