Was 2019 as good as you expected it to be?
It was a year of growth and development in every segment of the business. We practically doubled the team in terms of numbers with some highly experienced and qualified members joining us across the board. We also entered several new markets and started the preparations for several more, which we hope to see go live in Q1 2020. This year also saw the EGT Interactive game portfolio grow tremendously, adding more great titles to the game list and of course adding many new valuable partners to our operator network. 2019 was such a key year for expansion across the company, even our office space grew!
Which products were the most successful for EGT Interactive in 2019? Do you have a specific product that was successful in multiple markets or did each market for EGT have its own top performer?
Traditionally, the titles from The Hot Series, such as 40 Super Hot, Burning Hot, Supreme Hot etc., are always in the top 10 performed games in every market we enter. As typical classical slots, they are not only emblematic for our portfolio of games, but also have a proven mathematical algorithm and attractive RTP which makes them popular among the players.
Out of our latest releases, Egypt Quest, is the one that really stands out. Egypt Quest is a new approach to six of the most played titles from our portfolio, giving the player a chance for double winnings and many special features, such as free spins and bonuses. Rise of Ra, Burning Hot, 20 Super Hot, Halloween, Circus Brilliant and Egypt Sky are already familiar to the audience, but are now placed in a separate portal with a new bonus game, comprising of four Mystery Jackpot Levels. We have already released the new game for number of territories and it has lined up in the top 20 performing titles during the first month of its launch.
2020 is the start of a new decade, and the gaming industry seems to be growing all over the world. What are EGT Interactive’s plans for 2020?
In 2020 we will continue to follow our strategy for growth and development. We are looking towards adding more exciting titles and features to our game portfolio as well as entering some newly regulated markets. We’ll attend even more exhibitions and conferences, thus allowing us to provide more brand and business awareness to the potential leads. In addition to this, you will also see a brand new visual identity for the exhibitions which we’ll follow for the duration of the whole year.
