The Grand Casino Baden, in cooperation with Merkur Gaming, have hosted an evening event entitled “From idea to gaming fun: how is a gaming machine developed?” On the casino premises, 50 invited guests were given an exciting insight into the development of gaming machines and related games.

Markus Wessler, Sales Director International at Merkur Gaming, and his colleague Alexander Karin, Product Manager Content, demonstrated the game development process using the popular Merkur games Eye of Horus, Ghost Slider and Fruitinator and were then available to answer questions from the audience in a panel discussion. Afterwards, the guests had the opportunity to chance their luck on four recently installed Evostar Trio multigamers and take part in a quiz with original giveaways as prizes.

“The event was a complete success. Many of the guests are, of course, already familiar with our games and cabinets – but only as finished products. A look behind the scenes has opened their eyes to the creativity and innovativeness that go into producing our games and machines. I’m sure their newly acquired background knowledge will take their gaming experience to an exciting new level!” Markus Wessler concludes.
