Games Global launches following Microgaming acquisition

Games Global has officially launched following the complete acquisition of Microgaming’s distribution business, game IP and progressive jackpot network as well as interest in a variety of game studios. With regulatory licencing confirmed, Games Global is now firmly positioned at the heart of the industry.

Established in 2021, Games Global is led by CEO Walter Bugno, formerly of IGT and Lottomatica and CFO Tim Mickley, previously of SafeCharge and Playtech. The Games Global exemplary leadership team further includes chief people and transformation officer Leila Goelz, chief operating officer Theo Naicker, chief compliance officer Kimberley Broad, chief product officer Andrew Booth and chief revenue officer Julie Allison. With their leadership team sporting a combined experience spanning some 200+ years, Games Global now boasts over 1,100 employees worldwide.

Games Global, whilst a new player in iGaming, launches with more 3,000 games and jackpot titles in their portfolio, servicing over 980 casino brands.
