Nevada Gaming Control Board issues guide for re-opening

The Nevada Gaming Control Board has published a list of minimum guidelines for properties to re-open following the COVID-19 shutdown in the state.

The document says: “To assist licensees with reopening after the mandated COVID-19 temporary closures, the Board has compiled a list of procedures that should, at a minimum, be considered and addressed. These procedures are not intended to be all encompassing. Other steps may be necessary and should be determined on an individual basis, and in consultation with the Board, as necessary.”

A re-opening plan must be established, containing details of all elements of a phased re-opening, and emailed to the Audit Division at least seven days prior to re-opening – or as soon as possible afterward.

At last, good news.
