Resorts World Catskills Celebrates Grand Opening of Integrated Resort Destination

Celebrities Phil Simms, Neil Patrick Harris and Adrian Grenier joined hundreds of guests to commemorate completion of first phase of world-class gaming & entertainment complex; Jerry Seinfeld headlined RWC’s inaugural performance.

New York’s largest commercial casino resort with closest proximity to Manhattan, celebrated the Grand Opening of its integrated casino resort this weekend, marking the completion of the critical first phase that marries the luxury experience with entertainment and gaming.

Headlining the festivities was a performance from legendary comedian and producer Jerry Seinfeld, whose signature stand-up routine was the inaugural performance in the RW Epicenter, an intimate 2,500 seat event center. The Brooklyn native took the opportunity to welcome guests and remind them of his Catskills roots, where he began his stand-up comedy career performing at the legendary Kutsher’s Country Club, the Catskills resort that inspired the film “Dirty Dancing.”

The event included a champagne tower, bubble contortionist, and performances by cirque du soleil-style acrobats and an electric violinist, overlooking the casino resort’s two pools and high-limit private gaming salons.
